Dr. Liam Tranter studied at Otago Medical School and has over 25 years experience as a doctor and 20+ of that as a GP.

He was interested in the changes that were happening for medical cannabis access and availability overseas. Once the ability for NZ doctors to prescribe medicinal cannabis came, he was determined to understand how and why to offer it as treatment for his patients to reduce the polypharmacy that patients use for chronic pain.

In his spare time, Dr. Tranter is passionate about getting in the ocean and up the mountains.
