Dr. Astrid Windfuhr was born in Hamburg, Germany, and completed her medical training across the United States, New Zealand and Australia. For the past three years she has worked primarily as a cannabis prescribing doctor.

Her path to medicinal cannabis was a personal one — after seeing its benefits first-hand in managing chronic pain, she chose to dedicate her practice to helping patients explore this treatment option.

In her spare time, Dr. Windfuhr enjoys cycling, listening to classical music, cooking for friends and family, and exploring a wide range of books and podcasts.
