Dr. Allison Auston brings a wealthy international background to the team, having completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming before attending Midwestern University (AZCOM) for medical school and completing her Internal Medicine Residency at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. In 2019, Allison relocated to New Zealand, bringing a decade of robust clinical experience spanning both hospital medicine and primary care in the United States.
As a fellow of the ANZCCP with a specialised focus on Internal Medicine, Allison was drawn to medicinal cannabis after moving from Denver, Colorado—a region where plant-based therapies are thoroughly established. Witnessing firsthand the profound health benefits and transformative outcomes medicinal cannabis offers, she is passionate about providing her patients with well-educated, evidence-based, and deeply invested guidance. Allison strongly believes that medicinal cannabis carries the same medical legitimacy as conventional treatments and is committed to ensuring her patients feel supported, validated, and entirely free from judgment.
