With a background in mental health, Dr. Mike Billingsley brings a compassionate and innovative approach to patient care. He earned his medical degree from St George’s, University of London, and has a particular interest in how cannabis and the endocannabinoid system can support mental health recovery.
Dr. Billingsley’s journey into medicinal cannabis began when a friend introduced him to the field. He is especially passionate about using plant medicines as tools to
empower patients, fostering shared decision-making to give tangata whaiora
autonomy over their healthcare journeys.

Outside of work, Dr. Billingsley enjoys riding his motorbike and expressing his creativity through poetry.
