Jo Shirtcliffe was born in Canada and completed her Masters of Nursing at Massey University. Her clinical background spans cardiology, acute medicine and intensive care, and she has practised as a Nurse Practitioner for the past three years.

Jo first discovered medicinal cannabis at a Nurse Practitioner conference and was drawn to the field by its exciting developments and the real difference it can make for patients.

In her spare time, Jo enjoys fishing, reading and keeping active with spin classes.
