Originally from Skopje, Macedonia, Valentina graduated in 1993 and gained extensive experience within the hospital system both before and after immigrating to New Zealand. In 2004, she transitioned into General Practice, bringing over 30 years of dedicated medical expertise to her role. Valentina holds an MD and is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP).

Introduced to the field by a colleague, Valentina is passionate about providing additional treatment options in a safe and controlled manner. She is dedicated to supporting patients who have experienced limited effectiveness or significant adverse effects from conventional medical treatments. Stepping into her role at the Cannabis Clinic, she is excited to leverage her rich background in general practice, chronic pain management, and mental health to guide patients exploring medicinal cannabis.

Outside of the clinic, Valentina loves taking her dog for walks, cooking, and hosting warm gatherings with her family and friends. She also has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring new destinations.
